I do both long-term and short-term work with my clients. While I have assisted clients with a variety of problems, some of my specialty areas include: depression and anxiety; body image, diet and exercise concerns; multicultural and ethnic minority issues; lesbian/gay/bisexual issues and assertiveness training. I work with men, women and young adults.
Walk Therapy
Research consistently shows that exercise can help to moderate symptoms of anxiety and depression. Benefits of walking may include better sleep, increased feelings of self-efficacy, release of tension and an improved sense of connection and calmness. Just 30 minutes of exercise a day is optimal for overall health.
